in a ceremony held in the French Air and Space Museum at the Paris Air Show.
The runners-up in this category are Virgin America
taking 2nd place in the category, ahead of WestJet in 3rd position.

(including Puerto Rico), and eleven countries in the Caribbean, South America and Latin

to 71 destinations in Canada, the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean. Founded in 1996,
WestJet is currently the second largest Canadian air carrier, operating an average of 425
flights and carrying over 45,000 passengers. The airline has over 8,000 employees, and operates
aircraft from the Boeing 737 family. WestJet is based at Calgary International Airport, with
another large hub at Toronto Pearson International Airport, in Ontario.
